Let's talk
How we work

A clear process from first call to launch

Every project follows the same structure, so you always know what is happening, what you will see next and when.

What you can count on

Large or small, every engagement is built on the same commitments. They keep scope clear, show you working software early and leave you in control of your product.

The six steps

  1. Step 01

    Discovery

We learn about your goals, users, existing systems and constraints. Every enquiry gets a reply within 24 hours on working days.

You get: A shared understanding of the problem and the right next step.

  2. Step 02

    Scope and plan

We turn what we learn into a written scope: what the first release includes, what is deliberately left out, the timeline and how we will work together.

You get: A written scope, timeline and proposal.

  3. Step 03

    Design

Where the project needs it, user flows, wireframes and interface designs are agreed before development starts, so everyone knows what is being built.

You get: Approved flows and designs.

  4. Step 04

    Build in two-week iterations

Development happens in two-week iterations. Each one ends with a demo of working software on a staging environment, so you can give feedback early.

You get: Working software you can try every two weeks.

  5. Step 05

    Review, test and sign-off

Every change is reviewed before release, with automated tests on critical workflows, then goes through user acceptance testing with you.

You get: Your sign-off before anything goes live.

  6. Step 06

    Launch and support

We deploy to cloud accounts you own and hand over documentation. After launch, we can keep improving the product under a support retainer with agreed response times.

You get: A live product, documentation and ongoing support.

Typical timelines

Project typeTypical timeline
Focused MVP with one core workflow8 to 12 weeks
Mid-size custom platform3 to 6 months
Enterprise ERP or POS rollout6 to 12 months

Every timeline depends on scope, which we agree in writing before work starts.

Working across time zones

We work with clients in Sri Lanka and abroad, mainly through written updates you can read on your schedule. We agree regular overlap hours with your time zone and show progress at the end of every two-week iteration.

Ways to work together

Fixed scope

A defined scope, timeline and price. Best for MVPs and projects with clear, stable requirements.

Ongoing development

A monthly block of development time for products that keep evolving, with priorities agreed at the start of every two-week iteration.

Support retainer

Maintenance, updates and steady improvements after launch, with agreed response times.
